Also switched to the EVGA 600 80 PLUS Power Supply, as 800 Watts is probably overkill and slightly more expensive than the downgrade. Cost goes up a bit, but I guess it'll be worth it in the end.

I very much like the look of the Corsair Obsidian Series 450D Mid Tower, which is 280mm compatible for the new fan. Also due to this, I had to switch out my Chassis, as the Raidmax I had selected is only 240mm compatible. I did some quick research and found what you had stated, regarding failure and leakage. So far, I've adjusted my Fan, opting for the H110i instead. This is very helpful, thank you very much. I was gonna have one myself, but the budget controls the quality.Īnyhow, that's all my suggestions. EVGA is reputable for fantastic quality SC cards. Go with a Corsair/EVGA 80+ Gold rated PSU.Īnd. The PSU is standard with the Raidmax case, and it is the only item I suggest a DEFINITE replacement for. The motherboard is also great, but I'd go with Asus' STRIX version. Really, it's between Western Digital and Seagate, both have great performance and costumer satisfaction.Īh, Corsair Vengeance. I own this HDD myself, and honestly, I have no issues. Albeit more pricey, that's the stipulation. However, Samsung's EVO M.2/NVMe drives are reputable for performance.
And Western Digital has a great reputation for providing more than adequate, and even fantastic service and products. I would go with an EVGA IO instead, or a H110i, H115i, etc. The AIO cooler is an okay one, but several reports tell of Corsair's H100i pump failing, and leakages. So, it's the best you'll get unless you go to Ryzen 7/LGA2011v3. However, if I were you, I would go with a more notable, quality company like Corsair or NZXT.įor the CPU, that's the top-tier LGA1151 CPU on market. Now, granted, they're not 100% horrible- the case you've chosen seems pretty alright. Raidmax is pretty synonymous with 'crap'. Your build is very nicely done, but everything deserves constructive criticism.įor the case. Any input about the build will be appreciated! I'm unsure if my power supply is overkill or not. I love RPGs, and I plan on getting into some FPSs on PC rather than on console. I've never had anything with some real power, so I'm going strong on this one to last me for some time. All four coolers under the Asetek brand are all used in pre-built machines by companies like CyberPowerPC and iBuyPower.First big dollar PC I'm building. Today we are going to take a look at four of their AIO coolers, the 510LC, 550LC, 570LX, and the 591LX. You may not realize it, but you might know them very well from the excellent AIO coolers that are sold to other companies to be rebranded. The Danish company specializes in liquid cooling solutions for everything from data centers to your home gaming rig. For almost two decades now Asetek has been building cooling products that help increase CPU speed and performance. One company that excels at this is Asetek. And the truth is it’s not always a bad thing, as not all companies can afford to design and manufacture amazing products for their whole product range. In this case the manufacturer is actually behind the scene designing and building the product for the company we know to brand and finish with their style. What might come as a surprise to some is that many of the products we love that draw us to these companies are not actually built or designed in house. Be it style, price, performance, or quality these characteristics help us build a relationship with and maybe even an attachment to these manufacturers. Many of us have a favorite manufacturer or two that we feel makes a product that we’ve come to rely upon.
